Was exactly what we were looking for. Simple, cute, and easy beach access. Would come back again.

A very pleasant stay!!! Very cozy and clean, everything was as expected, one of our favorite amenities of this property was the proximity to everything. We walked to coffee, the beach, convenience stores, and restaurants in less than 10 min and despite being so close to all of that, the property itself is extremely private on a dead end road which we very much enjoyed. Host did a great job making us feel welcome.

My stay was peaceful and cozy. The cottage has a lot of charm and the beach is just a few minutes walk. Would definitely recommend and stay here again!

Hard to beat the location and view of the waves rolling in!!

Joanne’s beach house is truly an Airbnb, not just a vacation rental. This is one of those houses where you immediately feel at home and comfortable in and everything you could possibly need is there. The view is lovely and location is convenient but what makes this place truly special is the host. Joanne was extremely kind and friendly. We felt genuinely cared for during our stay. Our family of four along with our dog Charlie made so many great memories here. We love Manzanita area and this was a great base. Easy walk to beach and to town from the beach. We all slept soundly and made good use of the pool table, DVD collection and the fireplace. I loved having my morning coffee on the deck and taking in the birdsong. We cooked many meals and had all we needed in the kitchen. Joanne spoiled us with local coffee and chocolate as well. We will definitely be back!

We were pleasantly surprised by how nice our stay here was! It’s clear that Thomas thinks of every little detail to ensure guests are well taken care of. The hot tub was amazing, there was plentiful seating in the living room, our dog loved roaming & sniffing around the backyard, there were TVs in multiple rooms for Netflix binging, the beach was just a short walk away, and when one bed proved to be a bit too firm we were able to use a different one and it was great. There were labels and instructions on everything, plenty of multi-use chargers throughout the house, and the clean up expectations were totally feasible. I would recommend this listing to others and would love to book it again in the future!

The house was clean and well stocked with everyday items such as laundry soap and extra garbage bags, which was very helpful. We enjoyed the location and the house was quaint and charming.

Honu House was lovely. It's a beautiful home with a great living space. We had our toddler with us, and he had a blast exploring the main living area which required very little kid-proofing. The location is very quiet. We had to walk 20 yards on the side of a faster road (that has little traffic) to get to the easement to the beach, but the beach was truly outstanding. In the other direction, there's a beautiful estuary with walking trails. Lucy was very helpful and communicative. We really enjoyed our stay and would definitely recommend it.

Nice spot close to a nice beach and a short walk to a playground, grocery store and coffee shop/bakery.
