We rented this cabin on the fly (literally) my husband and I were looking for quick getaways for a much needed vacation and time away from the norm and it was my bday weekend as well. We had never heard of Burton, TX or Log Country Cabins and are both Texas natives but we are so glad that we came across it on our search and decided to give it a try. The cabin itself was just as described and looked like the photos online and the location of the cabin was amazing. The views were amazing, access to the lake and creek for fishing was just steps away from the cabin and the common area and peaceful park were just steps away too. The weather was perfect and it was not peak season so it also felt secluded and private and not too crowded which is what we were looking for! We had an amazing time disconnecting from the everyday and re connecting with each other! We enjoyed every bit of it & will be returning soon!!

We had a couples stay-cation so we could unplug and relax. The cabins are very cute and you feel like you're out of town, while only being 10mins away from restaurants and things to do. We happened to stay during one of the coldest weekends, but we were nice and toasty in the cabin. The grounds also lend themselves to some peaceful walks and front porch sitting. Would definitely stay again!

I had a fantastic stay at this Airbnb! The host was incredibly responsive and helpful throughout my entire trip. The place was exactly as described in the listing, with comfortable accommodations and clean facilities. I especially appreciated the privacy and the great in-house amenities, including the pool and games. It was the perfect spot to relax and unwind after a long day. The office staff was also very helpful and accommodating. There were tons of amenities surrounding the office, making it easy to find everything I needed. The grounds were beautifully maintained and provided a peaceful atmosphere. Overall, I would highly recommend this Airbnb to anyone looking for a comfortable and enjoyable stay.

We spent Christmas at Brooke’s place and she thought of everything. The lake, water toys and beautiful sunsets were a hit with everyone. Everything was as described and ready for us! Would definitely recommend. Thank you🎄

Beautiful and peaceful location. Close to Inks Lake State Park, Kingsland, and the Perissos Winery. Great place for kids and dogs.

Very nice. We wanted a quite natural get away for my wife's birthday. The bed (pillow- end) was a full window to the outside (private, except the deer could see us ...) which allow us to wake up to see the stars. The stars were exceptionally bright, and large to the point that we wondered if the window was in effect, a magnifying glass. We visited four of the recommended eating establishments, and look forward to returning. Much to do in this area, and only two hours from our home. We will be returning.

Fabulous time at Salty Dog Ranch. We loved the horses, donkeys and goats - they were so entertaining! It is the perfect place to get away and enjoy the stars and the sunsets.

We had a really lovely stay at the house. So peaceful and quiet, and lots of space to walk around with our dog. Loved being able to see so many stars at night. We will definitely be back.

Cabin was super cute and the location was great to disconnect for a couple days. Absolutely loved it 🥰

"D" Cabin on the Lake was a little treasure! We stayed here with 4 boys (ages 7-15) and one dog and all of us went to bed exhausted and thoroughly happy every day! From the great fishing (an assortment of bass, catfish, and bluegills), to boating, to paddle boarding (the river is a short trip down the channel), to just sitting and enjoying the afternoon it was fantastic. The cabin looks small but even with 6 people we never felt cramped or crowded preparing and eating meals, watching a movie, or just relaxing in bed. We had a great weekend and will be back!

It was clean and a lot of space for big families and has everything you need and I recommend it I would like to go back.

My friends and I went here for a girls night, and it was the perfect getaway. The cabin was a touch hot, luckily I had an extra fan in my car that we were able to use to help cool it down some!

Peaceful getaway in a quiet lakeside community. There were deer everywhere! We really enjoyed the outdoor area with the fire pit and Outdoor TV. House was stocked with k-cups and quality bathroom products (Native Brand shampoo, conditioner, & body wash). Emily was very helpful and responsive. It was the easiest check-in and check-out process I’ve ever had!

We really enjoyed staying at the Cowboy Cabin. It's perfect for a small family looking to get away from the city and enjoy nature.

They provided a wonderful service and accommodations. The area was a perfect retreat to be able to enjoy the river and the landscape. The house was comfortable and cozy for my wife and I and we hope to return.

We had a great weekend at the Lake house. The weather was beautiful, we really enjoyed the back patio. The setting is great and deer were just wandering around everywhere. The girls loved that!

Love the cabin ! Board games , it was nice having off the kids off the electronics for awhile would definitely come back .💓 my children enjoyed the stayed and the creek

The place was nice and tidy, just what we were looking for in a cabin, with peaceful surroundings. Amber was awesome, she was very helpful, great hospitality! While at the creekside, we met the local dog who was friendly after the first interaction, and later met the local cat who was also very friendly. Overall, it was a great stay, and would definitely consider coming back in the future.

Great place really worked out for us. We enjoyed our stay will definitely return next week
