Really enjoyed our weekend away, great communication from the start. Quite and quirky cottage, so peaceful even though it's on a road, this wasn't a problem for us.. The hot tub was amazing.. A great extra to the weekend...☺️☺️

A fabulous place! Peaceful and private. The surroundings were stunning and the accommodation was spacious and very special. The swimming pool, jacuzzi and gym were excellent and very clean and the games room impressive. We had an amazing few days.

I would happily give this an 11/10 rating. From the start, Larissa was approachable and friendly. The property was lovely, with quality fittings and furnishings. The location was ideal for visiting numerous places. Parking was right next to the property, on a large private drive. A welcome pack included breakfast cereals in jars, as well as fruit juice - a lovely touch. The icing on the cake for us, was that Larissa and her Husband had researched local WW2 remains, as well as cycle routes (as they knew that was why we were staying there), and left us a lovely letter with ideas of where to go, as well as relevant leaflets tied up with a ribbon - Above and beyond expectations. This place was an absolute find and we loved spending time here. There was a very cosy snug living room, well stocked kitchen and two bathrooms with decent showers. we thorough enjoyed staying here as it had everything we needed. It did get a little cold the first night, but the clear instructions inside made using the central heating system simple, plus they left wood for the fireplace which was a huge plus! Super responsive and provided some local recommendations. A long walk down to Rye, but the taxi services all knew about the house so getting home was easy! Thanks for a wonderful stay!

Great house in a great location near the beach. Lovely garden and hot tub was an added bonus. Ella was a great host and very responsive.

We had an amazing break at Peter & Karen’s place. The cabin is perfect, we were so comfortable! Peter is brilliant with communication, really helpful and friendly. Everything is just like in the pictures. The place is in a great state of repair, everything works perfectly. In the kitchen there’s a fridge, a dishwasher and a full electric hob with oven. The shower is great, loved the rainfall shower. The linen all smelled gorgeous and the bed was so big and comfortable, we had the best sleep. The pillows and duvet were perfect, so comfy! The wood burner was brilliant and gave such a lovely setting! I loved sitting on our patio surrounded by the gorgeous countryside, soaking us the sun! The jacuzzi was amazing, and we really enjoyed the swimming pool too. We had a thoroughly relaxing time, great walks, really enjoyed every second of our much needed break! We would love to come back again!

Massive thanks to Chris and Erick, once again a truly magical and restful stay. Thank you for accommodating earlier openings for the pool and for providing information about surrounding areas to visit and the weather for the week, this was very useful. The cottage was beautiful as always and full of everything we could possibly need during our stay. The gardens were lush and full of life and we enjoyed walking amongst the flowers. The pool looks great since it’s refresh works and we look forward to coming back soon.

I was looking for an Airbnb for my 40th to spend with my family and wanted somewhere nice, with a hot tub and not too far from a beach. This property was perfect. It was clean, tidy, had everything we needed and the weather was nice the days we were there which was a bonus. As a family we shared quality time together playing games and watching the tv together and in the hot tub, it was just perfect! And the food recommendations were spot on! We had the best time and made my bday that little bit more special. Thank you to Carly and her family! Can’t wait to come back. X

Excellent holiday cottage set in idyllic surroundings, each facillity Within the cottage were as described and we felt imeediately comfortable! Local restaurants were excellent so much so we eat out all week, so very well satisfied all round My contact at beachy head estate office (evie) was excellent in Handling our enquiries before and during our stwy, so Evie take a bow for a job well done

Mandy and Clive were very friendly and proactive hosts, supporting our stay with flexible check-in and check-out times, and being incredibly responsive to messages. Their accommodation is beautiful, with a homely-feel and love in the walls. The garden was perfect to wake up to in the spring mornings. Would definitely recommend!

Waggoner cottage is set in the beautiful countryside and was so peaceful. We enjoyed everything the cottage had to offer, this hidden gem is perfect if you’re looking to get away from every day stresses or just like somewhere which is peacefully quiet with some nice walks. The cottage it’s self has everything you need for your stay with home comforts, an open fire, under floor heating in the kitchen, a good shower, and the most comfortable bed. I actually forgot how dark it is with no light pollution!

We loved our stay at the cottage! We were 7 people total and found the cottage to be big enough for us all. Really loved the kitchen area and back patio area for gathering, playing cards and making dinner. And the fireplaces made the kitchen and living room so cosy for movie nights. We walked into Rye from the cottage and also took taxis over to Camber Sands. It's such a peaceful and beautiful location, we loved watching the sheep in the pasture behind the house. We would definitely stay here again!

Beautiful stay at Esme's cottage. We stayed for 2 nights. Beautiful area, we saw rabbits and deers in the garden which was fab! The cottage was lovely, cosy and clean. We had a great night sleep in the comfy bed. The shower is amazing too. We will deffo be returning.

Absolutely amazing place to stay and Lynda was possibly the best host I’ve ever had. Really worth every penny and throughly enjoyed my stay.

Just home from a fantastic couple of days, insisting her. The cottage was perfect for us, wonderfully decorated and fully equipped for all our needs. Really peaceful and homely. On arrival gifts was a lovely touch as well as fresh flowers displayed. Thoroughly recommend staying here. The bonus was the pub was staggering distance with a great restaurant. Jackie was very helpful throughout.

Great stay at the mini barn - Very clean and had no issues throughout the stay - Felt right at home. Great local tips and communication from Romy. The hot water was easily reset under the sink & Romy was super helpful with locating the button - Only had to press this once during the week. Definitely would recommend for a short break away with sunrise/set views.

Absolutely loved it, lovely peaceful stay everything was great and exactly as was told by Katie. The cottage was beautiful and very comfortable, would like to return one day.

We had a wonderful stay at the Potting Cottage in Hastings Old Town. Upon arrival there was some fresh baked bread , apple juice and eggs on the kitchen table. Fresh Milk in the fridge and plenty of tea and coffee. They property is lovely and clean with a rustic charm. The bedroom was very cosy and the bathroom spotlessly clean with a great modern shower. There are so many little lovely touches everywhere and Helen clearly knows how to look after her Guests and was very responsive and proactive to any enquiries. The photo graphs don't really do it justice and its bigger than it looks , especially the bedroom. Both TVs have a built in DVD player with a selection to choose from to suit different tastes. There is a even a small remote control to shut the Velux window blind on the roof in the bedroom which I thought was just an other perfect little touch. We travel to Hastings occasionally and I will definitely be staying again.

We had a lovely stay the house and gardens were immaculate and everything we could have wished for. All the little touches were so thoughtful the welcome pack in the kitchen, the amazing array of toiletries in the bathroom. Would highly recommend and definitely stay here again.

Cosy warm cottage to stay in. Super comfy beds furnished with historic touches. Cook in the kitchen OR Best pub food around the corner & a walk away from every cuisine you could want including 1st class coffee. We felt very welcome & loved our week at Tom Thumbs Cottage. Thank you Abraham & Joseph for your kindness leading up to our holiday and during our stay. Thanks also for all the wonderful information you provided to us. Do yourself a favour & don’t miss the award winning gelato around the corner from the cottage, excellent!

What can we say - We loved our stay at Jo’s Cottage, it was a great location, very quiet and we got to see the resident badger. We found Jo exceptionally friendly. She gave us an in-depth introduction to the cottage and to cap it off, she had the heating going for us. Can thoroughly recommend Jo’s cottage for a relaxing escape.

The cottage was a real home from home. Really important for us as we had to stay for two months whilst work was being done on our house. It was warm (essential in January and February), cosy, comfortable and extremely well equipped. John and Jane were thoughtful and helpful. After a very stressful few months we were able to relax and enjoy our extended holiday.

The house is absolutely gorgeous and was spotless. It's probably the best equipped place I have stayed in, has everything you need and more. The location on the high street is ideal for all the local shops and a great pub. Mike was a delight and communicated very efficiently. I would definitely stay there again if I was in the area.

Lovely cottage. Very spacious. Nicely furnished. Good WiFi. The courtyard is a nice suntrap and was a secure place for our Yorkshire terrier to potter around. Jane could not have been more helpful. Will definitely visit again. Rye is a beautiful town. Very dog friendly. Enjoyed good wine and a splendid Ribeye steak at The George Inn.
