Wish we could've stayed longer! The area is located in the middle of so many things that would be great to do wine tasting, whiskey places, restaurants, bars, attractions. If you do your research before arriving you'll have a list of things to do. Nonetheless, if evem if you don't, and you decide to stay at the house its feels secluded enough and spacious enough that that youre not crammed. The kitchen has so many cooking utensils and pots/pans that it felt like a home away from home. The grill was such a plus and with a full propane tank! Lastly, the dock offered so much space that if needed you could dip and sunbathe all you want. I will be back!

First, the house was very nice; comfortable yet clean and elegant. Second, the property is well taken care of. Our family had a wonderful and much needed relaxing time. Everything was perfect.

Our stay at Shelley's place was lovely! The house is so spacious, was sparkling clean, and had everything we needed. We enjoyed the grill and amazing views. It's located in a quiet and peaceful area, perfect to relax and have a good night's sleep. When I first saw the listing, I was a bit concerned about how comfortable the sofa bed in bedroom 4 would be. It turned out that I picked this room for me and my husband: it's spacious, has its own bathroom and the bed is VERY comfy, in addition to the best views! The other bedrooms were also great, cozy and with perfect levels privacy. Everyone was incredibly pleased with the accommodations. Communication with Shelley was excellent, she is a fantastic host!

I stayed here with 4 adult family members, after a long day of driving in the hill country. Michelle was great communicating with me and we had no problem getting in the house. The house was immaculate and had everything you could possibly need for your stay. The beds were comfortable and the location is peaceful. In particular the dock is a really awesome place to enjoy time with your family or friends. I'll be back.

We loved staying at Joni's beautiful house again.. So quiet and beautiful location. The back porch is the width of the house with plenty of seating and table to eat while enjoying nature. We loved sitting on the porch in the mornings drinking our coffee and listening to all the different birds and occasional dear that pad through the yard.. Such a great view. We will be back.

We’re a family with two young kids and had such a great time here! The condo itself was a great set up- the closet was big enough to fit a pack and play in case anyone is like me and is always trying to see how to make a sleeping arrangement work on vacation! The beautiful little beach, two pools, and playground are a huge added bonus. Apartment was well equipped and clean. We definitely hope to come back!

We have stayed at Chuck’s twice now since it is close to family and have had a great experience both times. We are grateful for how well kept the place is. It is clean and comfortable and close to everything we need. We recommend Chuck’s if you plan to visit the area.

This place is amazing! Very Clean! Super quiet and comfortable! Not a bug or piece of dirt in sight! Hot water, Cold A/C, every streaming channel, full kitchen, big shower, comfy beds and couches, etc. Safe parking. Location is fantastic! And the price was steal for what you get! This has to be one of the best Air B&Bs I've stayed in hands down. not sure why there are any bad reviews on here... I would absolutely recommend this place and I will definitely stay again!

Beautiful property! The hosts are responsive and you can’t even tell they are there. The home and surroundings were clean. It’s a HUGE property and such a good place to enjoy nature, the pool, kayak/canoe in some areas of the creek, did some shooting and the dogs were very friendly, always taking care of us. We will be back!

Loved it here! This was a great find. It was a nice clean room overlooking the river and was on very pretty grounds alongside other rentable cabins. The Spicewood location right on the Pedernales and along lake travis was wonderful, truly waterside with easy access to the kayaks/canoes/paddleboards which you can rent through Travis quickly and conveniently. After sunset I had plenty of room to set up my telescope and had a great view of the moon and stars over the water. It’s right down the street from Krause and several other hillcountry gems. Great host. I’d totally come back.

What a great little house for me, my husband, and our dog to get away from the big city for a few days. It had everything we needed and plenty of space to lounge and play. The views from the back yard were amazing, and having access to the river for swimming was so fun. We also loved how the house was isolated and quiet, but super convenient to drive to Inks Lake for the day, or Burnet for meals and groceries. Would definitely recommend this house to families with kids and dogs looking for a little out-of-the-city adventure.
